I go by Nix or Nixie most of the time. I wear a lot of red. I'm short, and I'd like to be a translator and/or a chef. I'm engaged to Jason, who's really tall, loves organic chemistry, and wants to be a pharmacist. I have three dogs. Labels are nice and weird, so you can file me away under herbivore, feminist, and agnostic. My absolute favorite non-English word is "cuntintìzza", followed closely by "quatre-vingts dix-huit".

Interests and an overabundance of detail

One of my dogs is a minpin-Jack Russell mutt named Pip, who lives with me and my fiancé here in Kirksville; my family has a miniature poodle named Max and a short lab named Atticus. On the weekends my friends come over to participate in bacchanalian carousing, the viewing of bad movies, and dancing to bhangra. I love to cook; a lot of the stuff I make is veganized updates of old favorites, and some things are new inventions. My favorite book is The Handmaid's Tale. I love romance languages and verbification. If I overhear you speaking another language in some public venue, such as a grocery store, I will stalk you/eavesdrop until I figure out what you're speaking, and if I understand it, I'll continue to be nosy.

IDSM175 and Wikipedia

This is actually the important part. I've been editing Wikipedia like whoa for a while, but only just now have set up an actual account for my interdisciplinary studies class, at the behest of Dr. Alberts who teaches IDSM175 at TSU. We're learning about ornamentation in architecture. From these discussions, I have concluded that the minimalist aesthetic is the very pwnage. Or uh, something.
