The Banquet (Traditional Chinese: 夜宴; Simplified Chinese: 夜宴; pinyin: Yè Yàn) is a 2006 film, directed by Feng Xiaogang ("A World Without Thieves"). It starring Zhang Ziyi as the leading actress, the movie is set in the Tang Dynasty in 10th century China. It deals with the themes of revenge and fate. It is scheduled to be released in China on September 15 2006.
