Since I'm just about to write a bunch of material relate to GSM, GPRS and 3G I'm hearby declaring that I work for a company in the mobile industry. All the material I'm contributing to this is, however, my own original work under my own copyright and done for information, not commercial gain.

Hi Mozzerati. I hope you like the place and choose to stay.

By the way, please start headers at the "==" level (the "=" level is for the article title). You don't need to start an article with a header, either, as that is what the article title is for :)

However, your edits are looking good. Keep contributing Dysprosia 10:39, 16 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the support.. I misread the editing article and saw only one = sign.. Mozzerati 11:51, 2004 May 16 (UTC)

Hello Mozzerati welcome to the English language wikipedia. I saw your edit at the Bangkok article. Living in Bangkok I must ask you where did you get this phrase from: Due to heavy pressure from groups such as the BSA, the Thai government has now started to crack down heavily on the unauthorised copying by it's citizens. All of these crackdowns are a farce. Just publicity stunts. They will raid a couple of places get the international press to watch it and then after a couple of weeks it is business as usual. Waerth 05:52, 23 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm you're right, though you should note that even the BSA praises Thailand as one of the few places where "software piracy" has been reduced... there's definitely a point of view that got dropped in my edit. I've rewritten the paragraph with links to some of the sources I've used, to note that the unauthorised copying continues and mention that some people think the Thai gouvernment lacks commitment. Hopefully that makes you happier? In any case, I've seen more unauthorised copying elsewhere than I've seen in Thailand, though I must admit I didn't spend that long there. Mozzerati 20:53, 2004 May 24 (UTC)

Hello, I was in no way criticizing your entry. It is just funny how the Thais always manage to put up enough dust to blind people who are not actually here, or only temporarely here. Anyway, thanks for your additions. I mainly contribute on the Dutch language wiki, but I keep an "eye out" on the pages about this region in the english wiki. Hello, I just changed the intro paragraph of Auschwitz concentration camp; I think it's clear now that the area was annexed by Germany at the time. I didn't like the first sentence "Auschwitz is the name given to a concentration camp..." for two reasons: there were many concentration camps and an extermination camp, all with different names, while "Auschwitz" itself referred and refers to the Polish town, not to any one camp. Cheers, AxelBoldt 08:40, 24 Jun 2004 (UTC)

please see comments I added to the talk:Auschwitz concentration camp page.

I like the new edits a LOT better!

One little quibble: in the future, even if you want to standardize an article into British spelling, don't go calling them "corrections". The American spellings are equally valid, and probably used by a larger population worldwide than the British spellings (at least as far as native English speakers). I have no trouble with an article standardizing on one spelling or the other, but to imply that one or the other is incorrect is... wrong.

Cheers, Tooki 01:32, 7 Jul 2004 (UTC)

hmm... sorry, no such implication; most of the corrections seemed legit so I let the spelling checker have its way. Is dialing correct American English???!!?
Michael Mozzerati 07:06, 2004 Jul 7 (UTC)
Yes, dialing is correct in American English, as is "miniaturized", "traveling", and "airplane". See American and British English differences -- that article is really nicely done, and covers all the words in question. :)
I do see that indeed there were also a number of just-plain-misspelled words in that text... sorry I didn't mention that, too -- I wasn't referring to those!
(My mom -- who is American -- is an English professor in Switzerland, and encounters a bizarre problem there now and then: her coworkers (who are largely British) find errors in American texts, and declare that they're "Americanisms". My mom then has to correct them and say "No, they're mistakes!" Hehe.)

Your move from rogue wave to freak wave seemed legitimate, so I approve. However, if you have occasion to do this again, can you please check the 'What links here' page link before doing the move? I have just run around half a dozen pages and changed existing links from [[Rogue wave]] to [[Freak wave]] to keep everything consistent. Noisy 07:31, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Thanks. Sorry. Though I'm a bit afraid that there may have been a real reason for the change (e.g. someone says that Rogue wave is the proper name and that they should only have been called Freak wave whilst there wasn't a "scientific" explanation). If they do change it with a good explanation and forget the link cleanup I'll do that to make up for forgetting this time :-)

Mozzerati 07:39, 2004 Jul 23 (UTC)

No problem. The person who did the first move had left disambig links unresolved as well as not using the correct mechanism. I've also left a comment on the talk page for freak wave to try and stop any potential edit war. Noisy 08:40, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Warsaw Uprising

Halibutt 07:43, Jul 30, 2004 (UTC)
Thanks again for the pictures. I prepared a template to be attached to all pictures you made recently. Feel free to modify it if you consider the license to be wrong. It's at User:Halibutt/Mozzerati (type {{User:Halibutt/Mozzerati}} to use it). By clicking on What links here you get a list of all the pictures uploaded so far. Cheers! Dzieki za pomoc przy pracy nad Warsaw Uprising. Moze zechcesz sie przylaczyc do naszego projektu: Wikipedia:WikiProject History of Poland? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus 21:53, 31 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Hi. Trnopolje does not qualify for speedy deletion. I suggest that you place it on WP:VfD to get it deleted. - Tεxτurε 21:46, 9 Sep 2004 (UTC)

don't agree, but I respect the decision (IMHO, putting it on VFD gives it too much respect, but as long as someone else put's it there, fine :-) anyway, it's there now...

Say what? I did no such thing. Look at the history more carefully to determine who actually added it. Everyking 13:43, 11 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for the note. I see your point about the IHR article; feel free to remove the external link. -- Viajero 09:10, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Bertschi School

I decided to keep that article. Most of the delete votes were for an article very different from the one that now exists. - SimonP 18:49, Oct 13, 2004 (UTC)

Explicit in two of the delete votes, and implicit in the rest, is that it should be deleted as the article gave no claim of notability for the school. Since the votes were cast information has been added saying the school is highly selective and something of a local landmark. I personally do not believe all elementary schools deserve articles, but if what this article states is correct then I believe it should is notable enough to be kept. - SimonP 19:03, Oct 13, 2004 (UTC)

MSU

Done. [1] 172 06:31, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

It is not wrong for a person to copy the idea and write from another article as long as it is not excatly the same or too close to that specific article, even though he may copy certain sentences. However, if the person copies all or almost all of the contents (Including sentences), then it is illegal. Thanks, User talk:165.21.154.9

Rewrite

Mozz, rewrite the Kinnaur article that contains exactly the same information as it was before, but change the orientation for some of the sentences. I expect to see it by next week. Thanks.

(this request was from user:Chan Han Xiang / 2004 Nov 11 / 19:00:48).

Fixed copyvio

I've made a fixed version of the copyvio you were concened about. Please look it over. JesseW 01:59, 12 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Mozz, rewrite the Kinnaur article that contain similar information as it was before, like people and clothing, but change the orientation with to a considerable extent, in any way you like about the place. I'm giving you another week. Thanks.
