Jorge Batlle
Jorge Batlle Ibáñez (born 25 October 1927) has been the President of Uruguay since 2000. He is a member of the ruling Colorado Party. He has searched for remains of dissidents who had been disappeared during military rule in the 1970s and 1980s. Later during his rule, he ceased this effort, and is pointed at by many as helping the cover up of the dissident's remains.
