Tomoyuki Takechi

Tomoyuki Takechi (武市智行) is a former president and chairman of Square Co. Takechi started his career at Shikoku Bank in 1979 and joined Square in 1996 and assumed the positions of president and CEO. He later became chairman in 2000, but resigned in February 2001 in order to "take responsibility for the company's plunge into the red in fiscal 2000 for the first time since it was set up in 1986..." Following his resignation from Square, he founded DREMUSIC Inc. as company president and CEO. He was a member of the board of directors for Trinity Security Systems Inc. since 2001, and joined Trinity Security Systems as a full-time director in 2005 as company chairman. He is also a board director at DiMAGIC and Trinity Security Systems Laboratories, Inc.
