The Zastava Florida, also known as Yugo Sana and Yugo Florida, is a small family car produced by the Serbian automaker Zastava since 1987. It is a five door hatchback, available with a range of engines from 1.1 to 1.6, and related to the Fiat Tipo. It was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Italdesign. The car is produced in Serbia by Zastava and also in Giza, Egypt by the El Nasr Automotive Manufacturing Company, where it has been made alongside the Tofaş Şahin.

It was sold in the UK from 1988 to 1992, with sales boosted by a low asking price, but it was eventually withdrawn from sale due to a fall in popularity which was explained by dismal build quality and reliability.

Competition

The current Zastava Florida, in the Balkans, faces competition against Dacia Solenza and its sucessor Dacia Logan, Lada 112, and other similar cars. Its main advantages are its versatility, its high-technology compared to other Zastavas, and its price, never exceeding the € 7000-8000 figure for top-of-the-range models.
