The Communist Party of Bangladesh is a communist party in Bangladesh. It was founded in 1968 when the East Pakistan wing of the Communist Party of Pakistan was made into an independent party.

The current general secretary of CPB is Mujahid ul-Islam Selim.

The youth organization of CPB is called Bangladesh Youth Union and the students organization Bangladesh Students Union.

The party is part of the opposition 11-party alliance.
