Novato High School is a high school located in Novato, California. The school has 69 teachers, that teach the subjects of English, Math, Science, Social Sciences, Foreign Language, Fine/Performing art, Technology, Physical Education and Special Education. The school was ranked to be in the 70th percentile of Californian high school, and of the 1134 students at the school, the two largest ethnic groups are white (60%) and latino (20%). [1] [2]

The school is also home to the Marin School of Arts, which is a magnet school, meaning that students from the entire Bay Area can apply for admission. It's director is Mark Peabody, and the school currently has 180 students in two grades, ninth and tenth. Classes have about 22 students, and each teacher advises 16 students throughout high school. The school has attracted good funding, and offers unusual electives as well as cutting-edge technology to the students. [3]. Admission requires either audition or a portfolio of work.
