Hi, John, thanks for catching the alternate meaning of Or.
BTW, you may want to look at Wikipedia:Disambiguation to see how we format pages like this that deal with multiple unrelated meanings of a term, and how we edit links to make reading the encyclopædia smoother.
But don't worry about doing these things for Or itself now; I took care of it. — Toby 06:56 Oct 18, 2002 (UTC)
Hi John. That make sense. Ok. User:anthere
Hi John, thanks for your corrections concerning the Battle of Hastenbeck. Since English is not my mother tongue your help is very appreciated :-). One short note: the correct spelling of Hanover is with one 'n'. Being from Hanover this is very confusing because Germans write it "Hannover". mkrohn 22:12 Mar 25, 2003 (UTC)
- Not sure, how to use these personal talk pages in the best possible way, I decided to write the answer to my talk page User talk:Marco Krohn and leaving a message here for you for notice :-) -- mkrohn 22:42 Mar 25, 2003 (UTC)
Sorry about Guildford - I had just been reading the illuminati pages and could not resist! Kylet 22:01 Mar 26, 2003 (UTC)
John, why do you keep making those 1 E{n} J articles? Most of them are pointless and have no content. LittleDan
- They are templates LittleDan. Just like the many hundreds of content-free year templates. --mav
Hey John! I see you do a lot of weeding around here. This would be much easier for you if you became a Administrator. All you have to do is to post your interest on WikiEN-l. --mav
Hi John. Thanks for sorting out the diagram in my sand box. I realised that I had left the extension off as soon as the page loaded but I had such trouble trying to connect I just gave up. Theresa knott 21:44 Apr 2, 2003 (UTC)
Re: Kapok. The reason I left out the South American origin is that it may be wrong. Some sources say Africa or India or Asia, until I felt certain it seemed better to leave it out. 62.253.64.7, April 4
Hi John. Adding bilby pic now. User:sheepbaa 10:26 Apr 5, 2003
Thanks. sheep
John, yes, absolutely<G>. It would be less painful if I had any interest or knowledge about the Cleopatras. -- Someone else 01:31 Apr 5, 2003 (UTC)
- A noble effort, John, but it seems that now the malfeasant has assumed the identify of User:Alicef2t2004 for inserting his fictional characters into history! -- Someone else 19:36 Apr 6, 2003 (UTC)
Hi John, Thanks for your additions and comments. I'm new to this game but learning quickly. I felt that if I made the required changes to my personal page, I could delete the recommended deletions entry accordingly :-( ?
But the only way to learn is to watch others more skilled at this!
I'm finding Wikipedia very addictive! Is there a detox program available??! ;-)

hallo John, thank you for spelling - I am from Germany uwe--
Hi John, maybe you could check out the new user George Washington. He seems to be Weezer who was Michael and spent ages vandalising sites. He moved weezer stuff to the GW user page. He also has put some text about the real George Washington on the user page, with add-ins about Washington's sex life (this time about his penis turning green). Michael spent some time and a lot of effort trying to add in references to oral sex to the main page. If it is Michael/Weezer, they both were banned (and indeed threatened with law under using the name of a real band and purporting to be them). The new George Washington needs to be kept a close eye on. If he so much as starts adding in yet more ficticious entries about bands, he should be immediately banned. The fact that he as assumed the name George Washington and added in more stuff about Washington and his sex life suggests it is Michael and he hasn't changed and intends to behave as before. Congrats, BTW, on the new status. STÓD/ÉÍRE 22:38 Apr 7, 2003 (UTC)
I guess I have a knack for subtle edits :). Just a quick question, do you delete newb tests right away (unless you know enough for a stub) or do you wait a while? That's what I do, but you've been cleaning up junk pages longer than I have so I'd thought I ask your method. -- Notheruser 23:12 Apr 8, 2003 (UTC)
I recreated platoon mode as a redirect. These articles were probably created because there are external links to these pages, so it makes sense to keep them as redirects. See also the history of the article future of the car. Martin
Yes, I took some spaces out from the beginning of paragraphs (at Laurent) - I've not heard of them causing problems here at the Wikipedia before, but apparently pre tags (which is what spaces at the beginning of a line are turned into I think) cause all manner of problems in various browsers. --Camembert
Hello John, about the issue regarding the pic: When do you suppose the voting will end Please notify me
Hey, that's what I'm here for. I don't think I've seriously contributed to any articles for a couple weeks now, except for List of famous elephants, which is hardly something to brag about. Fixing vandalism and catching the various errors made by new users seems to be a never-ending task. :) -- goatasaur
Heh heh. if you look at the line above where Kingturtle writes about Black Widow he . . . em. . . expresses what he thinks of 'her' by where he links all of the words in the line about her to. Take a look. STÓD/ÉÍRE 06:11 Apr 15, 2003 (UTC)
If Wikipedia upholds the principle of neutral point of view, why do you censor the internationalist perspective on human rights violations in Iraq, specifically, by the American-led coalition? Fact is, your "neutral" dictionary is a repository of Western bias and complicity in crimes against humanity, and as I stated in another forum (talk:Human rights violations in Iraq), I'm compiling evidence from the vast stores Wikipedia provides.

Thanks for fixing that link in Fort Oswego. Can you tell me why I can't get the Oswego, N Y link right? There is an article but it does not match the link. I've tried two different so far, and it is too late to try again tonight. Thanks again, 'till tomorrow. Lou I 07:26 Apr 15, 2003 (UTC)
Thanks for the picture code you put into Royal Jordanian for me. It nicely fulfils my main criterion, which was that the picture and caption appearance should be completely unchanged. What I didn't gather from the very few replies to my Pump posting is whether I should change the coding from my Table coding to your CSS coding, on all my future picture work. It would be annoying to standardise on your code then find that some Wiki Admin could see an incompatibilty with certain browsers or whatever. Should I change over? I would love to have your further comments. Best Wishes, Adrian.

Is making fun of my name something you get off on, or is it just plain ignorance. As a supposed Wikipedia contributor, perhaps you should be more concerned with article titles called Fuck instead of my heritage that I am very proud of despite people like you. Olga Bityerkokoff

'Olga' just placed a threat on my userpage. I think it is time this troll is banned. ÉÍREman 02:06 Apr 16, 2003 (UTC)
Hi John, yup. OTT means Over The Top!

your raver/ravers solution sounds like a good one. thumbs up. Kingturtle 05:52 Apr 17, 2003 (UTC)
Poring over my big 'pedia of world aircraft, I see EC-135C (started as KC-135B), EC-135H, EC-135L as "dual relay station and command post", and EC-135Y all designated as some sort of command post. Given the way they're fiddled with, some of these had to be nearly one-offs, and for some I think it will be a very long time before all the details come out... Stan 06:53 Apr 17, 2003 (UTC)
Re: this page. Yup. Thanks very much. Cyan 18:08 Apr 18, 2003 (UTC)
Hi, John. I didn't see your note on zealots until after I'd done the deed. Hope I didn't step on your toes. Deb 18:57 Apr 21, 2003 (UTC)
Just to beat all you pedants to the punch, yeah, I know, the Web isn't really 10 years old today, it's just the ten year anniversary of the 1.0 release of the first graphical browser. I meant that in sort of a tongue-in-cheek sort of way; in hindsight, I probably should have suffixed it with ";)" rather than ":)". -- John Owens 18:06 Apr 22, 2003 (UTC)
