By way of introduction, I would say that I have academic training in the social sciences, experience in government, and non-governmental organizations and an abiding interest in alternatives to hierarchical organization and other de-humanizing or destructive features of modern industrial society. I support those who work for peace, build community and preserve the natural environment. I will join with those who want to work together to make things better on this planet. I will laugh along with those who find humour in the present state of world affairs. I'm optimistic, though. Here's why:
