UK Schmidt Telescope

The 1.2 m UK Schmidt Telescope is part of the Anglo-Australian Observatory (at Siding Spring Observatory, Australia). It is a survey telescope with a 6 by 6degree square field of view, and has been the primary source of Southern Hemisphere optical and near-infrared survey data for several decades.
