Kelly Rowland (born Kelendria Trene Rowland February 11, 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an R&B, pop singer, and member of the successful musical trio Destiny's Child.

Rowland was adopted by the family of fellow group member Beyoncé Knowles at age 10. She later rose to fame with the then quartet Destiny's Child in 1998 with the Billboard Top 10 hit, No, No, No, Part 2. After much publicized turmoil, the group members were reduced to three leaving original members Rowland and Knowles, and addition Michelle Williams.

After the success of the trio's third album, Survivor, the three members separated to pursue solo endeavors. Rowland, in 2003, then released her first solo album, Simply Deep. The album, which went Gold and debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts in the UK, included the 13-week #1 hit featuring Nelly titled, Dilemma . Additionally, she branched into acting with her role in the 2003 summer blockbuster, Freddy Vs. Jason.

Following solo success, Rowland rejoined Knowles and Williams to release their fifth studio album, Destiny Fulfilled. The album and debut single, Lose My Breath, both rose to #1, becoming the group's second chart-topping album and tenth #1 single. Rowland and the other two-thirds of Destiny's Child are planning to embark on a European and American tour sponsored by McDonald's titled, Destiny Fulfilled and Lovin' It, in 2005.

She is currently engaged to marry NFL Dallas Cowboys safety Roy Williams in 2005.
