Greg Lake (born November 10, 1948) is a controversial British bassist, vocalist, and songwriter. Lake was a founding member of the original incarnation of the British group King Crimson, and was an eponymous member of the supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer. He also toured briefly with the group Asia in 1985.

As a solo artist, Lake became well known for his Christmas hit, "I Believe in Father Christmas" 1975, which used music by Sergei Prokofiev as a backing track.
