Originally built in 1884, Staples High School is a public secondary school located in the town of Westport, Connecticut. In an effort to accomodate the needs of the growing community, the school moved in 1958 to its present location on North Avenue. The high school today offers an Olympic-size indoor pool and their own radio station, WWPT-FM (90.3 FM). In 2004 the Wall Street Journal listed Staples among the best public and private schools in the nation.
