3806 Tremaine is a small asteroid of the Alinda family. It was first sighted on either 14 October 1975 [1] or March 1 1981 (see List of asteroids (3001-4000)). The second of these discoveries was credited to S. J. Bus and the asteroid given the provisional designation "1981 EW32".

It is named for the noted Canadian astrophysicist Scott Tremaine.
