Anatoliy Kinakh (born August 4, 1954) was a candidate in the 2004 Ukrainian presidential election, nominated by the Party of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs of Ukraine, which he has chaired since 2000. Prime Minister of Ukraine between 2001 and 2003. In 2002 he was elected a National deputy of Ukraine, representing the bloc of parties "For United Ukraine!" From 1995 to 1996 he was a minister responsible for industrial politics. A particular feature of his election program is a pro-Ukrainian choice in foreign policy, saying that entry to the European Union should not be a barrier to the development of relationships with all CIS countries as well as with Russia.
