Han Solo is a human from Coruscant (I think). He's a smuggler and loveable scoundrel. He nearly pays Jabba the Hutt back between episodes 4 and 5 but doesn't.

Han Solo flies the Millenium Falcon with the assistance of Chewbacca. He won his ship in a game of sabac with Lando Calrissian. They mostly remain good friends dispite this large interference from fate.

Han Solo is dragged along in the rebellion against the Empire.
