Cheap Trick is a band from Rockford, Illinois that gained notoriety in the late 1970s. The band members are Rick Nelson (guitars), Bun E. Carlos (drums), Robin Zander (voices and guitars), and Tom Petersson (bass).

The band signed to Epic Records and released Cheap Trick in 1976.

Cheap Trick's most famous album is Live at Budokan which went triple platinum.

This band released Cheap Trick, another eponymous album, in 1997.

The movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High was influential for Cheap Trick when Damone tried to sell tickets to a customer in the stand.
