Skåneland

Skåneland once constituted the eastern part of the Danish kingdom. In the Treaty of Roskilde (1658) it was permanently ceded to Sweden. It is made up of the Swedish provinces of Skåne, Halland and Blekinge. Geographically located in the south of Sweden, as a part of Götaland and bordering to the provinces of Västergötland and Småland.

By the Treaty of Roskilde the Kingdom of Denmark-Norway also ceded the province of Bohuslän to Sweden. Bohuslän was a part of Norway and not a part of Skåneland.
