Manipogo is the name given to the lake monster reported to live in Lake Manitoba, Manitoba, Canada. Sightings of this serpent like sea monster have been going on since roughly 1908. The creature was dubbed Manipogo in 1957, the name echoing British Columbia's Ogopogo.
Description
It has been described to be very similar to Ogopogo, 0.3 m (1 ft) in girth, and 3.6 m (12 ft) of the monster above water, and it is also described as serpent-like with different combinations of humps, varying from 1 to 6 humps.
Sightings
It was also reported as being seen in groups, the most famous lake monster to be seen non-individually. A group of 17 witnesses, most of them bearing no relation to each other, reported seeing three animals, two large and one small. This suggests that the creature(s) seem to stay together after mating/childbirth, possibly in pods similar to whales and dolphins. [citation needed]
