Krang

Krang is a supervillain ally of Shredder in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. He looks like a living, talking brain with a face, but in reality, Krang is an evil warlord from Dimension X who was exiled and stripped of his original body. In Dimension X, Krang commands an army of rock soldiers led by General Tragg. Krang is extremely intelligent. When not traveling around in his robot body, Krang travels in a bubble walker.

Krang was inspired by the Utroms from the original TMNT Mirage comic book, brainlike aliens who transport themselves in robot bodies. However, Krang is not an Utrom. The important different to note is that while Utroms are merely brain-like aliens, Krang is actually a brain, and it is not his natural form. Nevertheless, Krang made a comedic cameo in the 2003 TMNT series in the episode, "Secret Origins Part 3." As the Utroms are walking to the transmat to go home one of them says "I hate walking on my tentacles." Then, another Utrom replies "Oh, shut up Krang!"
