Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) is a software services company headquartered in El Segundo, California, USA.

CSC's history began in April 1959 when it was founded by Roy Nutt and Fletcher Jones, with the goal of providing programming tools such as assemblers and compilers. The company was quickly successful, and went public in 1963, the first software company to be listed on a national exchange.

As of 2004, it has around 91,000 employees worldwide and has clients in 80 locations across six continents. CSC defines itself as a global information technology (IT) services company. These services include systems design and integration; IT and business process outsourcing; Applications software development; Web and application hosting; Research; and management consulting. Headquartered in El Segundo, Calif., CSC reported revenue of $13.8 billion for the 12 months ended Jan. 2, 2004.

Since 1968, it has traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CSC.
