File:News-Tsunami-Logo.gif.jpgThe Tsunami relief concert was a charity music concert held at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on January 22 2005, in aid of the victims of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, occuring the month before. The concert raised over £1.25 million (€1.8 million or $2.4 million).

The concert was the biggest charity concert since Live Aid over 20 years before, and more than 60,000 fans watched live, with many millions more from around the world viewing the seven hour long concert.

The concert featured a range of music styles, with famous acts such as Eric Clapton, Jools Holland, Lulu, Feeder and Charlotte Church contributing. Live Aid's Midge Ure also made an appearance at the concert.

The concert began with classical singer Katherine Jenkins, starting the show with "Amazing Grace" and "You'll Never Walk Alone"; the audience waving torches to represent victims of the Asian disaster.
