Matt Damon (born October 8, 1970) is an American film actor. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

He shares an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay with Ben Affleck for the movie Good Will Hunting. He was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for the same film.
