Stronghold Legends

Stronghold Legends is a castle-based RTS (Real-time Strategy) game by Firefly Studios. It follows in the series of Stronghold (2001 game) and Stronghold 2.
Unlike the previous Stronghold titles, Legends gives the player a choice of different starting rulers all with different troop types (including King Arthur and his knights of the round table, Count Dracula, and Siegfried of Germany). Other new features include the ability to play multi-player versus CPU controlled opponents. Also, for the first time, you can choose between different game play modes for online play, including death-match, king of the hill, economic war, and capture the flag. Stronghold Legends looks to bring a new mythical element into the game; whether or not this was a good decision by FireFly is up to the players to decide.
Special Units
A new feature in SHL is special units. Each faction has different unit groups unique to the faction. For instance, if you choose King Arthur as your faction, you are given the opportunity to recruit Merlin, Sir Galahad, Sir Gawain, and many others of that legendary story. Each special unit has its own unique skills, which must be recharged after using. Dragons will also be available to every faction. (NOTE: Dragons have a set lifetime until they disappear in a magical puff of smoke. However, most other special units will remain on the map until they die.)

The side of Dracula has access to The Sorcerer's Tower, which can summon:

- Demon
- Hell Hound
- Vampire-like Creature

- Saxon Warrior
- Black Dragon

Each faction also has access to special Castle Defenses and Siege Equipment.
