Chroogomphus

Chroogomphus is a genus of mushrooms, commonly known as pine-spikes or spike-caps, that are members of the Gomphidiaceae. A small genus, it includes Chroogomphus rutilus, C. vinicolor, and C. helveticus. Related to the genus Gomphidius, the new genus was erected on the basis of a lack of a veil.
