Founded in 1918, OGMA – Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, S.A., has dedicated ever since to the maintenance of aircraft and aircraft engines, as well as to the manufacturing of aircraft components and to aircraft engineering and logistic support.

OGMA currently holds a wide range of domestic and foreign customers, both civil and military, and is authorised maintenance centre for Embraer, Lockheed Martin, Eurocopter, Rolls-Royce and Turbomeca. Maintenance services provided by OGMA include C-130, P-3 and F-16 military aircraft, Embraer ERJ145, 140 and 135, Embraer Legacy, Embraer 170 and Airbus A320 family commercial aircraft, as well as Rolls-Royce AE2100, AE3007 and T-56 engines.

Airholding SGPS (Embraer and EADS) owns a 65% share of OGMA´s capital and the Portuguese state (Empordef) holds the remaining 35%.

OGMA is situated in Alverca, approximately 20Km north of Lisbon, presently employs a workforce of 1600 and provides a 3Km H24 runway.
