Military Free Fall Parachutist Badge, Basic

To obtain the Military Freefall Badge, a service member must receive all necessary ground training, must have already received the Parachutist Badge, and must have completed the requisite freefall jumps to include a night, combat equipment, and oxygen jump.

Military Free Fall Parachutist Badge, Jumpmaster

A star and wreath, centered above the decoration, is authorized for those who have qualified as a Military Freefall Jumpmaster. Such qualification involves completion of the Military Freefall Jumpmaster course. This course teaches the student how to safely serve as a Jumpmaster during Military Freefall operations. Requirements for the course include experience as a Military Freefall parachutist and completion of the staticline jumpmaster course.
