Biul adalah enam spesies dari genus Melogale, yang merupakan satu-satunya genus dari subfamili mustelid monotipe Helictidinae. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Dampak pada manusia
[sunting | sunting sumber]Dampak biul terhadap manusia adalah melalui penyebaran rabies. Hal ini telah didokumentasikan di Taiwan dan Tiongkok, namun kurangnya dokumentasi dan penelitian sebelumnya mengenai Biul telah membuktikan adanya hambatan.[6] [7] [8]
