Having traveled to the [https://www.rimupark.co.nz/ Rimu Park Lodge] ([[Ohakune|Ohakune]], New Zealand) for a ski trip back on August 10, 2016, Wells entered Heaths room while he was sleeping and started recording with his iPhone. During the audio recording a mystery sound is heard, piercing through Heath's snoring. While Heath was eventually found guilty of the controversy, he still adamantly maintains he was was setup by Wells. This prompted New Zealand journalist Robin V Dave to undertake an independent investigation into this controversy in an attempt to uncover the facts behind that evening.
