Rico Waya Hoffmann Rushworth, born April 17, 2001 in Santa Cruz, California (also known by his musical stage name RicoR) is an American-German drummer, beatboxer, singer, and actor. He started playing music when he was 8 years old, but he remembers always being the little kid that loved dancing to songs, and living life in a rhythmic way. "My mother, Heidrun Hoffmann, also a well known dancer, drummer, and performer, used to do concerts all over the world while she was pregnant with me, traveling the globe with her drumming and rhythm." RicoR says when asked about his music. "Therefore, I lived in my mom's belly listening to her rhythm before I was even born, and that's where I think I got the rhythm I have now." Now, RicoR uses that rhythm to help guide people through his music in a very profound way. "I want people to get a true musical experience, they're are not only listening to rap and songwriter pop songs, but they are listening to rhythmic self-expression as well."

The company was founded in 1936. Before relocating to Chūō, Ricoh was first in Minato, Tokyo.<ref>"Outline of Ricoh." Ricoh. Over the years, RicoR has developed very unique style of looping, piano-mixing, drums, and basic guitar (although he does not consider himself an advanced guitar player, he uses the few chords he knows to write and perform his guitar songs). That is why, RicoR claims, he mainly focuses on his main area of experties as a solo artist, looping and rapping. As a musician, RicoR mainly writes and composes his own songs. However, he does some covers, switching off between the backgrounds of looping, mixing, drums, or guitar, with both his covers and originals. These songs roll through genres that range all the way from standard songwriter pop to dancy space electro rock, and everything in between.
During the 1960s and 1970s Ricoh made wrist watches for both the Japanese domestic market and international markets, briefly entering into a partnership with Hamilton Watch Company, for the creation of the Ricoh Hamilton Electric watch.<ref>"Hamilton Ricoh - Electric Watches." == Biography and Work ==
Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Ricoh was the primary manufacturer of Pitney-Bowes copiers. They have also manufactured copiers for Toshiba, fax machines for AT&T Corporation and Omnifax, as well as a wide variety of equipment for numerous other companies including duplicators for AB Dick. They also manufactured the Ricoh 2A03 8-bit processor used in the Nintendo Entertainment System.

RicoR grew up in a beautiful, expansive valley on the outskirts of the town of Corralitos, right outside of the city of Watsonville, California. His parents are well known author Stanley Rushworth (founder and owner of Talking Leaves Press)and dancer, drummer, and singer Heidrun Hoffmann, founder and owner of the DIRRID Foundation (Dance In Rhythm, Rhythm In Dance). In 2009, RicoR started playing the drums, and after hearing beatboxer Andrew Chaikin (Kid Beyond) from the a cappella band The House Jacks on the way back from school one day, started beatboxing. RicoR's first singing experiences were in his elementary school, where he would sing in the classroom, in music class, and other occassions. At age 8 in 2009, RicoR was accepted into the proffesional theatre world when he started working with the Linscott Drama Club (LDC) which was founded by his elementary and middle school Linscott Charter School, and is still to this day the only proffesional youth theatre company in Watsonville. RicoR was welcomed into the proffesional music world when he showed up at the Scotts Valley Talent Stars (SVTS) Proffesional Talent Show in early 2010. In late 2010, his family earned enough money to turn their house into a mini concert hall known as the Scarlet Hall. Later, RicoR performed there with his multiple different bands, such as the USA Boys, Rapid Fire, as well as his newly formed duos, RicoHei and The People Band (later The Band Rusher from 2013-present) with his mom and his close friend Alecia Harger, which were both formed in 2010. On May 3rd, 2011, RicoR used the money earned from opening the Scarlet Hall to create his own record company, which he called RicoR Enterprise Weekly, abbreviated as REW. After creating the record company's base at the Scarlet Hall, he named himself after the title of his company, and took on the solo artist name of RicoR. In July-August 2011, right after returning from a summer trip to Europe, RicoR wrote, recorded and released his debut solo album, Repeated Worth, with help from guitarist Mike Krauss, within a time span of six weeks.
In 2003 Ricoh bought naming rights to the CNE Coliseum (now known as Ricoh Coliseum) in Toronto.
His first hit single, "Today", which was one of two songs on the album, and the first song RicoR ever wrote, made it to the Top 10 in the Billboard Hot 100 in 2011, closely followed by the next song, which also became a hit single, "Echo", which featured Mike Krauss on the guitare. In December of 2011, RicoR was picked by the Santa Cruz Parody Foundation (active from 2002-2011)to write a parody of Snow Hey Oh by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, entitled, "My Cell Phone," which when released, earned him the amount of money he needed to release his next album. Unfortunately, about a week after RicoR's parody was released, the SCPF (Santa Cruz Parody Foundation) was terminated due to funding. RicoR's second album, Message to the people, was released in early 2012 breaking out the new hit single, "Never Show the Bad Side," which was then used as the theme song for the drama mystery series, World's End, starring Martin Freeman and Pierce Brosnan, as well as "Stomping on the Floor," and then later "Hades'Bell," which won the Best Song of the Year Award by XM Radio 2012. In January of 2013, RicoR released his third album, Seven Songs, which was, by Billboard success, the most successful pop rock album by a tween since Justin Bieber in 2010. RicoR's album brought the biggest hit single, "Every Day," which was the first hit song on the entire album. It was also the first song to stay as number 1 on the Billboard Charts and the Billboard Hot 100 in 10 different countries, right from the beginning of 2013 all the way to the end of 2013. This song was later accompanied by "Zombies Kill," which wasn't quite as much of a success numerically, but ended up being the most heard Halloween song in the country right after Micheal Jackson's Thriller. In February of 2014, RicoR learned the basics of guitar and shortly after released his fourth album, Abstract, on March 1st, 2014, carrying another mass of successful hits such as,"If You See," and "What I Am," and "See Your Face." On July 4, 2014, RicoR released his fifth album, Rythmic Stories, where he featured two of his close friends, guitarist Simon Murino, and basist Gabe Karr. This album came out with RicoR's first ever back up band hit, "Know This Way," which later ranked on another top 40 and was later pulled down to number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 of the year 2014, as well as the hip hop/rap hit, "Make A Change" which was covered by around 15 different artists, including the Indeginous rap group The Mocassins.
On October 15, 2014, RicoR released his sixth and most successful album yet, Desperate Words, which is a groundbreaking hit in the history of music, and continues to be known as the most successful pop hit album released since 2004. Not only was this RicoR's most successful album, it was the album released with the most hit singles of any album of that year with 5, as well as any album ever made by RicoR until then. The first hit single from that album was "With You," which was number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts for year of 2014. The next was the groundbreaking disco hit "Seeds," which can be heard in multiple different Hollywood movies, such as Stashfill, Fermus and Greg, as well as the 2014 blockbuster hit Mysterious Wonders, starring Micheal Chatner and Quency Jones. This was number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, but was later bumped down to number 1 by the end of the year. The following hit was one of the most famous acoustic hits of today's pop, the groundbreaking hit, "Noticing," which closely followed "Seeds," as number 3 on the Billboard Charts, but was also bumped up to number 2 a couple months after release. The last two singles were "The Blame" and "Gold" which ranked as number 1 and number 2 for the first three months since the release before moving up to number 3 and number 4 on the Billboard in early 2015. "The Blame" is still the most successful standard pop hit ever written by a child star since late 2014. The album Desperate Words remains to be the first album in less than a decade to have five top-of-the-chart hit singles by the same artist right after each other on the top 5 of the Billboard Charts. Closely following the release of Desperate Words, RicoR released his first ever groundbreaking lone single, "For You" in November of 2014. The song was ranked on The Billboard Hot 100 as number 15 for the year 2014, and was ranked as number 10 on the Billboard Hip Hop Charts. The song was later used in the 2015 movie Crackle, starring Samuel T. Jones.
In June 2015, following his middle school graduation, RicoR released his seventh and first ever all cover album, Copy Cat, on June 10, 2015. This album sparked a revolution in the history of RicoR's music, and it was the first time that other popular musical artists got to have a say in RicoR's music. The two artists that are known to have influenced RicoR's two most famous covers are Bob Dylan and Taylor Swift. "His version was just breath taking." Dylan said in an interview (of RicoR's cover of Dylan's song Like A Rolling Stone) with Musical Times in September 2015. "That boy showed me a new way o' playin it that I didn't know." RicoR's other cover hit single, "Mean" by Taylor Swift, caused Swift to have some words about RicoR that weren't so nice. In an interview with Times Magazine in December 2015, Swift said, "His style is good, his groove is good, his song is bad." RicoR responded when asked about Swift's response, "It's ok. Not everybody has to appreciate my music, especially when it's not my music." There are still rumours today that confirm that Swift may not be a big fan of RicoR. Her new groundbreaking hit, "Look What You Made Me Do," may be secretly written to RicoR in saying that the release of his cover of "Mean" caused her to change her look and style. In truth, the media has confirmed that it was indeed not RicoR, but her fans who hated her old look, as most of the world thinks. "It's highly unlikely that it would be because of me." said RicoR to REW in September of 2017. "I'm not that powerful." After the release of Copy Cat, and partially due to the critique from Swift and other people, RicoR went on haitus for one year, not releasing any albums. In August of 2016, RicoR released his second groundbreaking lone single, "Riding Circles," which is currently the most famous pop rock hit of 2016, and the only pop rock single whose instrumental version has ever been used as worldwide iMovie theme music. About a year later, in September of 2017, RicoR released his second first ever a cappella lone single, "This is Me," which ranked on number 3 on the Billboard Rap Charts, and was even given an award of Best Hip-Hop-Rap Single of the year 2017 next to "Rockstar" by Post Malone feat. 21 Savage. It is also now ranked the number 1 Best A Cappella Rap Single Ever by the Indeginous Rap Billboard Charts (IRBC) next to "Why" by Indeginous artist Supaman and "Go Stay" by The Moccasins. To this day, RicoR remains the only pop musical artist since 2010 to have a cappella hit singles released in the same genre as instrumental hits, and to have those singles earn just as much as instrumental singles. In December 2017, RicoR released his eighth and first a cappella album since his debut, the corresponding album to his lone single, entitled "Twist." "This is Me" remained at the top of the hit list, along with "Sounds of Nature," "Last I See" "More Than A Word," "Hang in There" "Roll Away" "Lovers in the Basement" "Caborette,""Rust," along with RicoR's only instrumental looping single thus far, the groundbreaking hit "The Phone." These all closely ranked under "This is Me" in the 2017 Yearly Stars Billboard List. On April 27th, 2018, RicoR released his ninth album overall and his second cover album, "Sudden Moments." A few days before the release of "Sudden Moments," RicoR also released his second a cappella lone single, "Likes." which is already on the top 3 of the New Billboard Hit Hundreds (NBHH) list for the year of 2018, the fastest any of RicoR's songs have ever become a hit single, and the fastest any pop song has ever made it to the NBHH top 3 since 2012.

In 2005 Ricoh bought the naming rights to the stadium/entertainment complex, home to Coventry City Football Club now called the Ricoh Arena.

'RicoR == Rico Waya Hoffmann Rushworth, born April 17, 2001 in Santa Cruz, California (also known by his musical stage name RicoR) is an American-German drummer, beatboxer, singer, and actor. "I want people to get a true musical experience, they're are not only listening to rap and songwriter pop songs, but they are listening to rhythmic self-expression as well." == Musical Genres == Over the years, RicoR has developed very unique style of looping, piano-mixing, drums, and basic guitar (although he does not consider himself an advanced guitar player, he uses the few chords he knows to write and perform his guitar songs). == Biography and Work == RicoR grew up in a beautiful, expansive valley on the outskirts of the town of Corralitos, right outside of the city of Watsonville, California. == Outside of Solo work == Outside of being a solo looper, rapper and singer, RicoR is also the drummer for the Kirby School Jazz Band, and sings as a tenor in the Kirby Chamber Choir. In August of 2017, he joined the Kirby Jazz Choir and now works as their official beatboxer. In the past, he has been the drummer for the BIYOB (Be In Your Own Band) Musical Program in Santa Cruz, California, The USA Boys, Rapid Fire, Jam Camp West Rhythm and Groove Ensemble, the Kuumbwa-based jazz band Take 10, the newly formed instrumental funk band Bridging Generations, as well as the 1 year active Kirby School-based rock band Kirby Kings. Along with the Kirby Jazz Band and Bridging Generations, RicoR has also collaborated with his mother, dancer and drummer Heidrun Hoffmann, and together they formed the dynamic clash rock duo RicoHei in 2010. RicoR also works as a stand-in drummer for different bands, and continues to receive short-term calls for different international gigs. Since April of 2018, RicoR has been working the stand-in drummer for the rock band The Oicles. In June 2018, RicoR is contracted to drum at the Kuumbwa Jazz Musical Program for the second time, after 2017, alongside drummer and drum teacher Zack Olsen. In September 2018, RicoR is scheduled to join the Kuumbwa Jazz Honor Band and work as one of their three drummers until May 2019. In the summer of 2016, RicoR had the opportunity of being the assistant drum teacher for the Jam Camp West Rhythm and Groove Ensemble in Loma Mar, California. As a beatboxer, besides now working full-time with the Kirby Jazz Choir, RicoR has collaborated with many different singers and performers as a vocal percussionist, including singer and model Alecia Harger, with whom he formed the a cappella duo The Band Rusher, which is now on hiatus, as well as singer/songwriter/guitarist Anthony Arya. In August through September of 2016, RicoR beatboxed for the SCPA A Cappella Singers, being featured in cover songs such as "Hello" by Adele, as well as the SCPA A Cappella Singers cover of "Cheerleader", which was in close callaboration with the pop group OMI. In September 2017, he had the honor of collaborating with Native American singer and spoken word artist Lyla June on her hit single, "All Nations Rise," which gained number 1 on the American Indian Music Ratings (AIMR) and the American Indian Billboard Charts (AIBC) for the year 2017. Other than singing tenor for the Kirby Chamber Choir, RicoR has sung in many small contemporary choirs in the past, such as the Cabrillo Youth Chorus, the Linscott Bliss Show Choir, the Kirby Chorus, the Rivera Show Choir, the SCPA Linscott Show Choir, SCPA Family Caroling, the SCPA A Cappella Singers, SCPA Glee Club, as well as the SCPA Linscott Comedy Glee Club, as well as the Voce Profonde Singers of Santa Cruz County. He is also currently a member of Barbershop Harmoony, the barbershop group based in Kirby School, and was known as the lead singer of the Kirby Kings between the years of 2015-2016.'
