Zhao Mao (赵瑁), from Yiyang, Henan, was a Ming dynasty politician who was executed by Zhu Yuanzhang during the Four Major Cases of the early Ming dynasty.
In the eighth year of Hongwu (in 1375), he served as a Confucian scholar and professor in Henan Province and was promoted to the position of magistrate in Qiongzhou Prefecture, Guangdong. In the seventeenth year of Hongwu, he was the official minister of rites and the official minister. Zhao Mao was implicated in the Guo Huan case and was executed by Zhu Yuanzhang.[1][2][3]
