If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."

• To list a technical request: the Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:

  This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.
• If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
• If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.

  I've never heard of this either way, but when I searched for it, it looks like most results say seasoning. And ngrams conform that seasoning is considerably leading. This should remain where it is.  — Amakuru (talk) 05:57, 24 June 2024 (UTC)

• Kermode bear (currently a redirect to Spirit bear) → Spirit bear (move · discuss) – Requested from talk page. Because 'Spirit bear' already exists as a redirect, I can't move the page on my own (or perhaps my wiki-fu just isn't good enough) NuclearElevator (talk) 10:37, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
• Muhammad Maharvi (currently a redirect to Noor Muhammad Maharvi) → Khawaja Noor Muhammad (move · discuss) – Its the correct name for that specific person while the Maharvi at the end is a suffix, we cannot move it to Noor Muhammad as it would be repeated for another person Alragon1 (talk) 11:00, 24 June 2024 (UTC)

  Company website at [1] still says "© 2024 JPMorgan Chase & Co." This is definitely not uncontroversial.  — Amakuru (talk) 18:06, 20 June 2024 (UTC)

  The request is to remove the extra space between “JPMorgan” and “Chase.” Legal name will remain JPMorgan Chase & Co., but the request is to remove the extra space from their brand name, which is what the title is currently set to. Artystyk386 (talk) 21:50, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

• Tasmanian Ports Corporation (currently a redirect to TasPorts) → TasPorts (move · discuss) – WP:COMMONNAME, has traded as TasPorts since its inception. Hobelauce (talk) 03:56, 23 June 2024 (UTC)

@Hobelauce, some sources say TasPorts and others say the full name, so the common name is disputed. Toadette^Edit! 11:57, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
