Aramean Name in this Aramean Village

[edit]

In my opinion, the village Beth Kustab should get on its own Wikipedia page the Aramean name, the People of Beth Kustan are Arameans, they Call themselves Aramean. The Aramean identity of this Village is confirmed a long time ago, so why shouldn’t the people of the village called Arameans?! Drmartinbey (talk) 13:58, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit was reverted as you modified two links [1] [2] and in doing so you broke them. Both sources use the name Assyrian. Assyrians and Arameans are the same ethnic group anyway. Mugsalot (talk) 14:07, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If I add serious sources which proves my arguments, is that okay? Drmartinbey (talk) 15:16, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If you have any reliable sources on this village, that would be brilliant, as these villages in Tur Abdin are very tedious to research, and by reliable sources I do of course mean published books or journals. It might be worth using the term "Assyrian/Aramean", granted you can provide the reliable sources. Mugsalot (talk) 15:23, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, you mean, if I add reliable sources, you won’t delete the Aramean name? Drmartinbey (talk) 15:43, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Provide your sources here on the talk page, and then we can discuss it. Mugsalot (talk) 16:10, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
