When a TransJakarta Bus breaks down?
[edit]What happens? With the special lanes done by curbs and not just painted, they are safe from other motorists breaking the law, but when a bus brakes down the system halts down completely like a tram system? Or doesn't it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.205.145.167 (talk) 18:06, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- In case of a breakdown the dedicated bus lane will be closed. Of course several buses will already be stuck behind the broken down bus. In South Jakarta many cars and motorbikes are using this lane as well. Enforcement of the bus lanes is not efficient. --Shorty23sin (talk) 06:21, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- I found out now that in case a bus breaks down the other buses will just drive over the curb out of the bus lane. Buses have a higher ground clearance and are not getting stuck on the curb. --Shorty23sin (talk) 02:31, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- Now, it is impossible for the bus to go over the curbs, since the curbs had been raised to about 80 cm tall. Instead, the bus will be forced to drive backwards to the nearest opening and then proceed through non-dedicated lanes.--Tni fans111 (talk) 10:21, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
Only twelve (12) lines/corridors?
[edit]If you look closely at the route diagram there are effectively more than 12 corridors as some have subsidiary routes such as 7, 7A, 7B. The routes with a letter designation, as far as I have seen, share every station with another route but they obviously have different origins and destinations. This would indicated the single trip journey possibilities are far more complex than 12 corridors implies. I propose something be added to reflect this. I can't find any detail as to whether they operate at the same frequency.Tjej (talk) 07:25, 27 August 2014 (UTC) I made some additions to reflect the diversity of service and there is a lot of information on the TransJakarta Corridors page. The Indonesia TransJakarta wiki page has a lot more detail. Tjej (talk) 11:01, 7 September 2014 (UTC)
Never Heard of it, Source?
[edit]In future fleet section, it is noted that there will be Volksbus 18.280 OT LE, UD Trucks JP 251Sm, new articulated inobus and komodos. Never heard of TransJakarta or other operators buying any of these buses. Any source?--Tni fans111 (talk) 9:24, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

Changing Characteristics
[edit]Characteristics that was referred from ADB is currently no longer relevant, as TransJakarta already have a feeder system operational. Aside from that, bus procurement will no longer be done by the public sector. Daily commuters have fluctuated as well ever since. --Tni fans111 (talk) 06:27, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
