Tamatea

Tamatea is the Māori term for the lunar phase equivalent to the European "first quarter". In the traditional calendar the 21st-24th nights after the full Moon are known as: Tamatea-āio, Tamatea-angana, Tamatea-kai-ariki, Tamatea Tuhāhā or Tamatea Whakapau.[1]
