On 30 June 2014, before Monday Night Raw aired, Dashwood was arrested in Hartford, in the U.S. state of Connecticut for sixth-degree larceny. Dashwood's lawyer said that she had forgotten to pay for an iPad case, when she was using the self-checkout machine at a Walmart. After she appeared at a community court on 1 July, she was ordered to do one day of community service and complete an online course.[5] On 2 July 2014, Emma was released by WWE after she was arrested for sixth-degree larceny.[6] She was reinstated by WWE two hours later.[7]
