Greetings! My name is Chris Osburn, and I exist at the forefront of a time line that started February 7, 1964. I spent a short time in the United States Marine Corps followed by a short time at The Colorado College. After that I worked in several computing and networking occupations. This sub-thread of my life ended as a network manager at Speakeasy Cafe and Network, an internet cafe that morphed into a large, independent internet service provider. I then underwent a drastic career change and drove trolley buses in Seattle, Washington.
My current interests center around mathematical instruments, particularly slide rules and calculators, and I maintain a small website listing my current collection. I also occasionally dabble in amateur radio, work with VMS, read and (attempt to) write.
Current time constraints preclude a great deal of participation. I hope that will change in the future. Right now I mostly stomp out typos.
