I hate this bullshit about being selective about what articles appear on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is, whether you like it or not, The Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy, a universal repository for all information that isn't actual intellectual property, and preferably links to any information that is intellectual property. Don't delete any information. Move it, if you must. Rewrite it so it is more concise and useful. Trim it, prune it. Don't delete.
As my userbox indicates, I'm more of a wikignome than an actual contributor, but I just wrote my first article so I reckon I should put this on my userpage. So here it is, the not-so-grand list of articles I created from scratch:
