Heinrich Lersch (born 12. September 1889 in Mönchengladbach; deid 18. Juni 1936 in Remagen) was a german working class poet and boilermaker

Life

Heinrich lersch was born in München Gladbach (today knowen as Mönchengladbach). After finishing his apprenticeship as a boilermaker under the tutorship of his father, lerche bagan traveling as a Journeyman, and worked in many different german cities.

During 1914 he paticipated in world war I, but was declared 'unfit for service' in mid-1915, due to asthma and stomache problems. He continued his father's boilermaker bussness until 1924, after which he retired due to his health problems. During the course of his illness Lersch had many partook in many recreatinal stays abroad: 1926 in davos, 1926 till 1928 as well as 1931 in capri and 1931 in greece. As an author lersch was an autodictate, and his works were deemed to have been both influenced by socialist ideals alongside catholic influenced expressionism.
