I'm Nicole Wheeler, a postdoc/data scientist at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, UK. I work within a team of software engineers, genomic epidemiologists and microbial genomic researchers, and lead the development and application of machine learning and data analytic methods across to detect disease outbreaks and emerging threats to human health.
