Anjana Om Kashyap is an Indian journalist and anchor. She is an executive editor of the Hindi news channel Aaj Tak. She is best known for her show Halla Boll and Special Report on Aaj Tak.[1] She also hosts audience based election debate show, Rajtilak and Dilli Ke Dil Mein Kya Hai on Aaj Tak. She has earlier hosted debate shows like Badi Behas and Do Took in other Hindi channels.[2]

She started her journalism career in 2003 with Doordarshan[clarification needed] programme Aankhon Dekhi. In 2003 itself, she joined Zee News. She worked in Zee for about five years before joining News 24 in 2007. She then shifted to Star News before joining Aaj Tak. Her debate show Do Took, on News24 was very popular.[how?]

She is a recipient of the Distinguished Alumini award from Jamia Millia Islamia university.[3]

While reporting about the 2019 Bihar encephalitis outbreak she entered the neonatal ICU at Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital and started heckling the working paediatrician[4]. She was widely criticized for her absolute disregard of ICU aseptic precautions and inappropriate behavior towards the on-call doctor[5][6]. The Indian Medical Association filed a complaint against her, stating that her actions had "endangered the lives of children" and were an attempt to gain “fake publicity”[7]. A public petition to take legal action against her predatory journalism and unapologetic attitude received support of more than 45000 petitioners.
