The Hindu killer interpretations is not unanimous. 4 References were deleted as they were not reliable (Authors were not historians and did not have the authority to claim that they knew what the term means). • 01:5101:51, 13 July 2020 diff hist +159 List of oldest continuously inhabited cities The article I cited is from 'The Hindu' a 150 year old newspaper of India with a daily readership of 1.5 million. I feel that it is way more credible than many citations used on this page. I have added another reference. The excavated settlement is 13 km from Varanasi city and still within 'Varanasi District'. Also, the reference says that archaeologists believe the settlement to be a 'feeder village', which by definition are satellite villages that develop 'AFTER' a big city has developed. Tag: Undo
