You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (95.93.201.166) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Hacksaw Ridge with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. — 2601:243:481:2CC0:2976:86E5:753E:2871 (talk) 01:34, 6 April 2018 (UTC)
Hello, I'm OhKayeSierra. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to La La Land (film)— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. OhKayeSierra (talk) 21:57, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
89th Academy Awards
I just wanted to let you know that I have reverted your edits [on your recent contributions] - specially these two, [edit1], [edit2] on 89th Academy Awards - because it did not appear constructive and doesn't explain your motives. This article is currently under FLC nomination and is being reviewed on daily basis, and all of the content has already been under eye. Also I have noticed that you have made similar edits in several other Academy Awards ceremonies, all of which are FLC articles, meaning they have already been reviewed and meets the criteria of FLC. Please refrain doing such edits in future. Nauriya (talk) 15:22, 29 April 2018 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Erin Brockovich (film). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. —Non-Dropframe talk 18:32, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (film). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jim1138 (talk) 01:30, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (film). Jim1138 (talk) 01:31, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
"Critical acclaim"
This phrase must be specifically sourced. wp:No original research Jim1138 (talk) 01:32, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
Again, don't use "critical acclaim" without a source. Also, avoid wp:puffery Jim1138 (talk) 19:02, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
Logo sizes
Stop messing with the logo sizes and infoboxes. If you have no idea what you're doing, don't make it worse by continuing to play with it in subsequent edits. Nate • (chatter) 03:47, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
- Once again, I implore you to stop. The alternative text removal is also not welcomed for those who depend on the feature. Nate • (chatter) 05:39, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to The Hateful Eight. Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Canadians does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:01, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

Recent edit to Millie Bobby Brown
Hello. I noticed that you recently made a contribution to the Millie Bobby Brown article that seemed to be a test. Your test worked! However, test edits on live articles disrupt Wikipedia and may confuse readers. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Rekonedth (talk) 16:49, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Multiple edits have repeatedly reverted your changes the article introduction. Stop with the puffery and hyperbole. Please follow the WP:SIMPLE rules and explain your changes with and edit summary. Please make smaller edits. -- 109.76.138.251 (talk) 13:42, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Again. Still not acceptable. -- 109.76.138.251 (talk) 01:55, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
I really don't want to go to the hassle of getting you blocked. You don't follow the simple rules and provide edit summaries and you frequently and in the case of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse article persistently try to puff up the praise even though multiple editors are reverting your changes. Despite that some of your edits aren't bad, but if you keep doing this an admin will notice or I will eventually get bored enough of reverting you and you'll get blocked. -- 109.76.148.130 (talk) 15:45, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
access-date
Please note that when you update Rotten Tomatoes scores you should also update the access-date in the citation. [1] -- 109.76.138.251 (talk) 17:57, 7 January 2019 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ben Mendelsohn; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 04:12, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of British former child actors, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. . — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 21:09, 13 February 2019 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
- See above, this is a pattern of disruptive editing, and a total failure to discuss changes. This IP deserves to be blocked for weeks if not longer. -- 109.76.225.224 (talk) 02:13, 14 February 2019 (UTC)

This person has learned nothing, came right back and did it again. Still not making any attempt to explain edits or discuss changes. [4] [5] [6] -- 109.79.161.229 (talk) 07:26, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
