Earth (American band)
Appearance
Earth are an American doom metal band who were pioneers of the minimalistic, bass-heavy, drum-less form of doom sometimes known as drone metal. One of Earth's songs was included in the documentary Kurt & Courtney. Dylan Carlson is the only permanent member; other members come and go.
Note that there is a British heavy metal band that was also known as Earth, before changing their name to the title of one of their songs, Black Sabbath.
