[edit]We should add Kurt Cobain to the list of past members since he also singed in the Extra-Caspular Extraction release, on track 2. I can't remember the name of this song though.

- Well, if he only sang on that one song, then he is a session member, not really a permanent member at one time. BTC 22:16 (Eastern Time) 17 October 2007
No indication is given as to why this is redirected from [Dylan_Carlson]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheMadBaron (talk • contribs) 22:07, 6 August 2005
Divine and Bright
[edit]I thought this was a live song and not a demo? Legend has it that Cobain slept through the whole live session except for that song --Nosmo 09:32, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Earth-logo.gif
[edit]Image:Earth-logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The result of the move request was: Rename to Earth (American band). -- BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 15:13, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
Earth (band) → Earth (Seattle band) – Fails WP:CRITERIA and WP:DAB. Earth (Japanese band) also exist, but that isn't the problem: The Seattle band is WP:RECENT, two other Earth bands on Earth (disambiguation) are equally or more notable in Google Books - Earth, the New Jersey band and first band of Bruce Springsteen, and Earth, the original name of Black Sabbath. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:18, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- Support move to Earth (American band), as the other bands are disambig'd by country. Unless, of course, there's another (notable) band called Earth from the US, then disambig by state/city. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 14:34, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- Support Earth (American band). I highly doubt anyone is going to search Bruce Springsteen under that title. --BDD (talk) 17:43, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks guys. I'm fine with User:Lugnuts and User:BDD alternative proposal. Unlike Black Sabbath the early Springsteen band didn't record under the name Earth. In ictu oculi (talk) 19:40, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- No probs. I saw (this) Earth live a few years ago, and they were really good. You could say that I dig Earth. Chuckle... Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 15:13, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

- Move to Earth (U.S. band) per other "U.S." topics which use "U.S." as the disambiguator form, and repoint current title to the disambiguation page -- 70.50.148.122 (talk) 05:46, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, (American band) is a much more common disambiguator than (U.S. band) or (US band). It would be nice to have this good and standardized, but (American band) will be consistent with more articles. --BDD (talk) 06:36, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- It is "U.S. film", "U.S. TV series", "U.S. state", etc, so bands should follow that. -- 70.50.148.248 (talk) 09:27, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
