The 1982 United States Senate election in Mississippi was held on November 2, 1982. Incumbent Senator John C. Stennis won re-election to his seventh term against future Republican governor Haley Barbour. As of 2024, this was the last time Democrats won a U.S. Senate election in Mississippi.
