Abu-Shakur Balkhi

Abu-Shakur Balkhi (Persian: بوشکور بلخی; born 915 in Balkh), or Boshakor Balkhi, was a Persian poet. He lived in the Samanid era in central Asian Persia and wrote the Afarin Nama in 944. He died in Balkh, now in modern Afghanistan.
