Not to be confused with Bridewell, a palace in London and a name commonly used for prisons and police stations.

Brideswell (Scottish Gaelic: Tobar Bhrìde) is a village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is named in honour of Brigid of Ireland.[1]
