Bunmi Davies is a Nigerian entertainment producer and CEO of Afrotainment Productions, producers of Stand Up Nigeria;[1][2] an indigent Nigeria comedy show in Lagos for upcoming stand-up comedians to showcase their talents[3] that has produced lot of Nigerian Comedians like Mc Bash,[4] Helen Paul[5] and many others.

Career

Davies began his career in the 1990s as a theater producer and then became a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry. His works include:

  • Standup Nigeria: A comedy show that has become a staple in the Nigerian entertainment scene, showcasing top comedic talents in the country. Bunmi Davies is the founder, producer and director of the show.[6]

Personal life

Bunmi Davies is happily married to Motunrayo Davies and they have a daughter, Azeema Davies.[11] He is a fan of Fela Kuti's music and is passionate about Arsenal Football Club.[12]
